Stage 13 – Sienna to Radificiano

80 km

4:20

1359 meters

Peter didn’t feel great – stomach, bowel and neck problems. Didn’t complain but I was worried. I used voltaren on his neck and we stopped at pharmacy for Imodium and Tylenol.

Seemed to help.

I felt pretty good – easy cycling for first 40 km with beautiful sights.

Hard couple of climbs especially one at the end but I did it without stopping. Getting mentally and physically stronger.

Arrived at tbe mountain top village with stunnning views. 1000 inhabitants.

Nice meal in traditional trattoria. We had dinner with a nice man called Rex who was walking from Canterbury to Rome. He was doing the entire Camino. Interesting guy from Seattle.

Peter is better today after sleeping yesterday when we arrived and getting a good nights sleep last night.

Had breakfast in a bar and met a nice young German couple. Reminded me of Sarah and Liam.

Today we head to Perugia with the sun shining and a nice down hill to start!

Peter as usual is taking forever so I can write in the blog
